About CCNNews
What is: CCNNews?
Cameras flashing, spotlights pointed towards you, typing and sound systems being checked. Before we can inform the students in our school about news events, a lot of hard work and thinking goes into our preparation. The CCN news production goes through many steps before the news can be let out to the students and teachers.
There’s a lot of planning involved in preparing the morning news. We need to have our CCN anchors ready and prepared to speak in front of the cameras and read off the teleprompter. Teleprompter is another important job that takes place in our news room. The teleprompter gives the anchors their script. The script must be typed and ready for the anchors to read it when its time to go on air. Music must also be picked for before and after the news. It may seem like a simple job but it’s more complex then it sounds. The lyrics in the song must be appropriate and have a reasonable meaning.
One of our most important jobs is sound. Without sound, students wouldn’t be able to hear our anchors to know what type of events are going on for that day or week. They also wouldn't be able to enjoy hearing the music.
CCN News is prepared to provide students and teachers with information. We try our best to have everyone well informed and up to date with the current news around them.
The idea to come up with this Blog came to us when we heard that many students weren't watching the Morning News. What better way to attract technology crazed kids then through the computer? This blog was created to avoid those moments when you forget what's going on during the week. The CCN News Blog will inform readers what's going on here at Curry. We hope CCNNews brings you all the information you need as it does to us.
